2012 Raksha Bandhan Significance Festival Celebration In India

Raksha Bandhan Festivals will be celebrated on August 2nd Thursday. Rakhi, also known as Rakhsha Bandhan is a festival that celebrates the unconditional love and sacred bond shared by brothers and sisters. The practice of presenting gifts on Rakhi is an important aspect of the festival. Indian mythology and history are full of instances related to the celebration and significance of the tradition of Rakhi peace and brotherhood. On this day, the sister ties a colourful Rakhi around her brother’s wrist and prays for his long life and prosperity after performing the traditional aarti. Rakhi is celebrated with fervour across India and around the world where Indians reside. Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a festival observed mainly in northern India that celebrates the relationship between Sisters and brothers.

20 July, 2012 - Ramzan Celebration of known as Ramdan | Muslim Festival

Ramzan is ninth month of the Islamic calendar is Ramadan (also known as Ramzan or Ramdan). Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and Muslims. It is the holy month for the Muslims worldwide. The specially during this month the Muslims show greater is sympathy to the needy and poor. After the end of Ramadan people celebrate three days holiday known “Id-al-Fitr” (means the Feast of Fast Breaking). Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and Muslims.
